A common pest of alfalfa on the plains of the basin. General distribution: Mid, South and Southeastern Europe, Asia Minor, Syria. SLOVAKIA — Banská Bystrica okreS: Alacsony-Tátra [=Nízke Tatry], Donovaly, 17-23.VIII.1985, PA [7]. Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: Distributed only in the chains of the Carpathians. There is only a single locality of occurrence (Siófok) from the recent territory of Hungary but the locality is unreliable. General distribution: Central and Eastern Alps, Carpathians, Croatia. Ana], 8.VII.1985, PA [3]; Máramaros [^Maramures county]: Nagybánya [=Baia Mare]: Wasservölgy, 20.VI.1973, PA [16]; Szilágy [=Sälaj county]: Meszes [МиЩп Mezes], 20. VI. 1969, ТА. Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: Distributed in the Carpathians where not rare. Very rare in the recent territory of Hungary occurring in mountainous districts only. It was so far known from the Kőszeg Mts. and Mecsek Mts., but recently was reported from the Bükk Mts. (TOMOV et al. 1996) either.
