Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: This species is one of the recent members of the Hungarian fauna (TOMOV and GRUEV 1981). Its distribution is much wider than it appeared earlier to be. Revision of the Chaetocnema concinna (Marsham) material of the Hungarian collections will result further locality data of it. General distribution: Mid, South and Southeastern Europe, Iran, Central Asia, Siberia, China, Korea. Chaetocnema procerula (Rosenhauer, 1856) HUNGARY — Veszprém county: Balaton-felvidék, Balatonszőllős, 15.IV. 1979, PA. Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: This species was known from Hungary on the basis of faunistical literature only without precise locality data. For the first time it was reported from the territory of the Kiskunság National Park (Lakitelek: Tőserdő) (GRUEV et al. 1987). Recently there are three specimens (one additional specimen from Máriabesnyő) from the recent territory of Hungary. General distribution: Mediterranean countries (Europe, and North Africa), Mid Europe, Turkey. 148
