VIII. 1977, OA. Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: Distributed mainly on the hilly and mountainous districts. Moderately rare species, however, a revision of L. ferrugineus (auct. nee. Foudras) material preserved in Hungarian collections would provide further locality data of this species. General distribution: Southeastern and Eastern Europe, Italy, Caucasus, Asia Minor, Iran, Syria, Israel, Cyprus.
