Praenorica Folia historico-naturalia, V (2002) Distribution in the Carpathian Basin: Formerly it was considered as a very rare species, as only a few localities were so far known (Leányfalu, Lake Fertő). On the territory of the Hortobágy it is a very common species (TOMOV and GRUEV 1981). General distribution: West and Mid Europe from South England to northern part of the Balkan Peninsula, Russia.
