PINTYE Gábor Jósa András Múzeum Nyíregyháza FL4401 Pf. 57. e-mail: pintyester@gmail.com A Beregsurány type vessél with stamped decoration from a Sarmatian grave (Motorway M3, site 148/b, Nyíregyháza-Rozsrétszőlő, Szelkó-dűlő) In the course of rescue excavations preceding construction works of Motorway M3, part of a Sarmatian cemetery was unearthed near Nyíregyháza-Rozsrétszőlő. In the robbed, female grave 5 we found a small, grey, wheel-made bowl with stamped decoration. Features of decoration and shape lead us to the Beregsurány/Beregovo/Luzanka workshop(s), but it could also originate from the Csengersima pottery workshop.
