In the present study the drawings and photos (made by the author) of these fragments are published. The author does not give a detailed analysis and comparison of the motifs, because that would be the task of a larger work made by specialists. The present publication can be used for broader research. In the starting part of the article we can learn about the mansion, more precisely, castle of the Melith family of Croatian origin (originating from Brebir). According to a later date, the mansion was built in 1585. This was an important site, hosting county assemblies held in Csenger in the 17 th century, by archive sources. The mansion was heated by tile stoves. Here we can find information on their history. The detailed inventory of the mansion from 1713 is published in the article. The inventory was made by the commission of the heirs after the extinction of the Melith family (1704). From this source we can get a good idea about the outlook of the mansion, or more exactly, the mansions. The inventory gives us information on two mansions: an upper and older one - even the furniture of which is mentioned, it was almost intact - and a newer one, that had been already in a bad state. 309
