János Makkay upper part of the piece. Another piece is one end of an embossed belt with four parallel en­graved channels on both sides of the row of bosses (No. 200). A third piece is a fragment of a long band with four crosses composed of nine small embossed knobs in each case (No. 201). 202-203. Probably belong to the same group. 204-290. Jewels or personal items. 204-209. Pins (Plate XXIII). One complete (No. 204), the three nearly complete (Nos. 205-206 and 209) pieces, and two heads. Their types are different, the main forms have bulbous head (No. 207), biconical head (No. 204), disc-shaped head (No. 208), and flat head (No. 205). Five of them show geometric incised motifs both on the head and the shank, or only on the shank (Nos. 204 and 206). 210-215. Necklaces-neck ornaments (Plate XXIII-XXIV). The complete necklace, which is undecorated, has coiled terminals (No. 212), two fragmentary pieces with twis­ted body and coiled terminals (Nos. 213-214), one complete and two fragmentary pieces with incised decoration on the body and coiled ends (Nos. 210-211 and 215). No. 239, listed amongst the bracelets, may also be portion of a twisted body that had coiled terminals. 216-260., 262-265. Bracelets and finger rings (Plate XXIV-XXVII). There are different types in the hoard: 216-219, 221-224 and 233-234. Penannular bracelets with tapering ends and so­lid body that is of rectangular, rounded and D-shaped cross-section. 220, 229, 236, 242-244, 246. Bracelets with overlapping tapering ends and solid body. 225, 227-228, 230-231. Penannular bracelets with unexpanded ends and solid body that is of rectangular or D-shaped cross-section. 226, 232. Bracelets with overlapping unexpanded ends and solid body. 235. Penannular bracelet with hooked terminals. 237-238. A number of small finger rings and spirals were attached to two brace­lets with overlapping tapering ends. 239. See above, among the neck ornaments! 240. Bracelet with overlapping unexpanded ends and twisted body. 241. Penannular bracelet with twisted body and coiled ends. 245-249. Coiled bracelets with tapering ends (No. 245), unexpanded (No. 246), and coiled (Nos. 247 and 249) or simple ends (No. 248). 250-252, 255-256. Bracelets with convex outer surface. 253. Simple bronze band with embossed lines on both sides. 254, 259. Band bracelets with folded or coiled ends. 257. Ringed bracelet. 259, 263. Flat spiral bracelets with coiled ends. 260. Wide flat bracelet with geometric design and rolled end. 261. Undecorated arm spiral. 262, 264-265. Fragments of three arm spirals with coiled terminals and incised de­coration. 266-271. Fibulae (Plate XXVII). Three pieces can be considered as fibulae (Nos. 267-269). One piece comes from the foot and catch of a long object, with the beginning of the spring (No. 267). Another is the bow part made in the figure of 8 142
