Bondár Mária: A badeni kultúra emberábrázolásának újabb emlékei Somogy megyéből

48 The newer remnants of Baden Culture human depiction from Somogy county MÁRIA BONDÁR In the Late Copper Age Baden Culture we know three categories of human depiction: idols, so called ginaikomorf pots forming a female upper body, anthropomorf urns. Formerly the research knew only two types of idol (Fig. 1.1 ,3) from Somogy county, both originating from Zamárdi. In this present article the introduction of three additional fragments enriches the inventory of idols (Fig.1.2, Fig. 2). Among the ginaikomorf pots only one was known from Fonyód, Somogy county. Now, by publishing the fragments of two new pots (Fig. 3), this type of depiction expanded as well. The county has a leading position in the Late Copper Age research from the point of view of statistical appearance of special objects. The diadem from Vörs, the idols, the pot remnants forming a female upper body and the wagon models all suggest, that this region played a special role in the life of communities of the Late Copper Age.
