The organic material content of ground MI was examined from the sample 2 and 4. The C—O—C band at 1170 cml and C = 0 at 1730 cm— 1 wavenumbers show the presence of esters with long chain (the band at 730 cm-l) m the infrared spectrum of sample 2. The mass spectrum of this sample (Fig. 3) has molecular ions (molecular mass 592, 620, 648, 676, 704) probably with a composition of the following esters Cn^2n+1~ COO-C m fi"2m+l where n = 19, 21, 23, and m = 20,22,24. The molecular ions of esters with smaller molecular mass (452), acids (256, 368 with carbonatom number of 16 and 24), and hydrocarbons (C n H2n+2 with molecular mass 422, 436) can be found in the spectrum too. 1 8B0 t IBB 1B8B t = £ *5 256 a.ee <22 150 200 3© ~43ß Ű.00 2S0 300 350 ^80 «SOrVE L2.O0 620 643 676 450 500 550 668 &5Ö 186 T50 800^ .00 Fig. 3 Mass spectrum of sample 2 EH H 1000-, 248 JEB 2CG 136 m 22D ZA i 256 J , 3Œ 368 0 I'.'.'... 1 17 ' "• 1 ".
