Results and discussion In the course of 1999-2000 the alderfly and lacewing fauna of the Villány Hills were surveyed. A total of 3255 neuropteroids, 2 individuals of alderflies belonging to 1 species, and 3253 individuals of lacewings belonging to 58 species, respectively, were recorded during the field work. Unfortunately, there were no snake flies collected.
