(1995) Data to the small mámmal fauna (Mammalia: Insectivora, Rodentia) of Dráva lowland, Hungary based on casts of white owl (Tyto alba Scop.) Győző HORVÁTH The casts of white owl are collected in the territory of county Baranya since 1985, and amongst the sites visited there are eleven villages on the lowland of Dráva river. 2839 samples were collected, and 2893 individuals of small mammals were found. Six species of the family Soricidae and ten species of two Rodentia genera proved to be abundant: Microtus, Sorex, Apodemus and Crocidura. We received the highest diversity indexes from the samplings collected along the river, as localities Zaláta, Gordisa, Matty and Mailáthpuszta.
