The list represents no more than a preliminary sampling and no profound conclusions can be drawn concerning the beetle fauna. It is obvious enough, however, that a quite natural species assemblage has persisted here. The occurrence of a few species, which are considered to be rarities all over Hungary, provides good evidence of the undisturbedness of the landscape and vegetation.
