Pig. 5. Platyphylax frauenfeldi BRAUER. Barcs, Forestry Office, Oct. 5, 1976, o* /Light trap/ 5. ábra. Paltyphylax frauenfeldi BRAUER. Barcs, Erdészet, 1976. október. 5, ô* /fénycsapda/. 2. Ecological composition of the cadd.isfly fauna The ecological demand of most Trichoptera is known /BOTOCÁNEANU-MALICKY I97Ô/. On its basis we can try to group the caddisflies of the area examined. As it could be expected, the larger part of the species belongs to the groups of limnadophilous ones. 37 species of the total 65 are such, their number of specimens is considerable is some cases e.g. Ceraclea dissimilis STEPH. , Leptocerus tineiformis CURT.,- Orthotrichia tragetti M0SB1Y, Agraylea sexmaculata CURT. Other species of stagnant waters are rare, e.g. Mystacides longicornis L., Ceraclea senilis BURM. , Athripsodes aterrimus STEPH., Oecetis tripunctata FABR., Phryganea grandis L., Holocentropus picicornis STEPH. 17 species develop in streams and/or rivers. The bulk of them is rare, their number of specimens is low, but Setodes punctatus-FAER. is frquènt: it may develop in the middle of the fish pond IT 0 I, where the water slowly flows through the pond. This biotope may meet the demand of river species, too. Such species are also Ceraclea aurea PICTET, Hydropsyche species, Hydroptila sparsa CURT., Ithytrichia lamellaris EATON. The location of developing of certain species is unknown so far. These are the species living mostly in streams. The stream "Rigó c-patak 11 is a very slow, with muddy bottom and sometimes it dries out. Some other streams are within 10 km of the nature preservation area. It may be that • some stream species develop there, e.g. Micrasema setiferum PICTET, Platyphylax frauenfeldi BRAU., Stenophylax permistus McL., Agapetus delicatulus McL., Hydroptila occulta EATON, Tinodes. pallidulus McL. These species are very rare on lowlands, the Bares Juniper Woodland is their only, such locality. The ecological demand of 9 species is very wide, while that of 2 is unknown. 126
