Data to the Orthopteroidea fauna of the Bares Juniper Woodland, Hungary László NAGY The present material is partly deposited in the collection of the Natural History Department of Janus Pannonius Museum /Pécs/ and partly in the author's private collection. The identified 249 orthopterous specimens belonging to 33 species were found at seven localities of the investigated area. It is probable that further collections will increase the number of species of the nature preservation area, thus further inversigations are necessary. It can be concluded that orthopteroid species most characteristic of the biotopes studied were found only. Mediterranean species have not been collected.
