Evaluation: DD. Pamphilius nigrifemoratus Shinohara and Taeger, 1990: Sporadic species. Evaluation: VU Comments: A candidate for Carpathian endemism. Pamphilius norimbergensis Enslin, 1917: Nagytétény: 1 female, 8 May 1919, Tatatóváros: 1 female from 1905, Körösbánya (Baia de Cris): 1 female, 29 May 1920, Brassó (Brasov: Timisül de sus), 1 specimen, 9 June 1955, Devín-NPR Devínska Kobyla (Pozsony: Dévény): 1 female, 26 May 1994, Stefanová (Istvánkirályfalva): 1 female, 11 June 1996, Ihelnik: 1 female, May 1999, Lúka (Hosszúrét): 1 female, June 1999. Evaluation: DD Comments: Rare, in xerothermic habitats. Pamphilius stramineipes (Hartig, 1837): Pilisszántó: 1 female, 17 May 1953, Budapest: 1 female (19th. century), Mátyás-hegy: 2 males, 19 May (no year), Borkút (Kvasy): 1 male, 9 July 1996 or 1997, Turzovka (Turzófalva): 1 female, 28 May 1928, Javorník (Jávornik-hgs.) - NPR Vrsatecké bralá: 2 females, 8-22 May 2003. Evaluation: VU Comments: This rare Pamphillidae species is extinct in Germany (TAEGER et al., 1998). Pamphilius sylvarum (Stephens, 1835): Slavnica (Szalonca), Caradice (Csárad), Pata, Stúrovo (Párkány) are known from literature. One female was captured at Devínska Kobyla (Pozsony: Dévény), 22 April 2003. Evaluation: VU Comments: This species is rarely collected as adult, but larvae associated with Quercus robur were more frequently recorded (PATOCKA et al., 1962; HRUBÍK et. al, 1995). Pamphilius thorwaldi Kontuniemi, 1946: Single record from Vel'ká Fatra Mts - CHN Suchy vrch (Száraz-hegy). Evaluation: DD Pamphilius varius (Serville, 1823): One female known from Kalocsa, 19th c, 1 female captured at Ternitz (Steinfeld), 13 May 1915 and 1 female at Prater bei Wien, 24 May 1908. Evaluation: DD Comments: Only single record within the Carpathian Basin, Austrian records near its western border. Pseudocephaleiapraeteritorum (Semenov, 1934): Vászoly: one female, 23 April 1984, Borosjenő (Ineu): one female, 10 April 1921. Evaluation: DD Comments: Very rare in Central Europe. Megalodontesidae Megalodontes flabellicornis (Germar, 1825): Biela Gora: 1 female from 1873, type oiTarpa speciosus Mocsáry. Another old female is known from Brassó (Brasov) (19 th century ?). Other published records: Orsova (Transylvania), Drávadiós (Orehovica, Croatia). Evaluation: VU Comments: We have historical records only. Megalodontes spiraeae (Klug, 1824): One old (19 th century) female known from Kalocsa. It was subrecently published from Leithagebirge b. Purbach and Eichkogel b. Mödling. Evaluation: DD Comments: This species is widely distributed from Eastern Europe to Eastern Siberia (TAEGER 2002). Evaluation: DD Calameuta idolon (Rossi, 1794): Known from Resicza, Orsova Németbogsán (Bocsa Montana) Munkács (Mukachevo) Diakovár. Evaluation: DD/VU Comments: Historical records prevail. Cephus infuscatus C. G.
