Rózsás Márton: Késő vaskori ház Barcs-Pusztabarcsról

Rózsás Márton: Késő vaskori ház Barcs-Pusztabarcsról MÁRTON RÓZSÁS LATE IRON AGE HOUSE FROM BARCS PUSZTABARCS SUMMARY The natural hill, located to the west of Bares (County Somogy) is a wellknown archeological site. In 1983 a sand-pit was opened on the hill, and since then, archeological findings have often turned up here. The Late Iron Age building-section described in the article appeared spontaneously during the mining-operations and had to be excavated as it was endangered. Very little time was available to record the object's characteristics and to secure the findings. During this work, a near oval-shaped, partly underground-built housesection was found under the disturbed layer. The ceramic-fragments, the metalic objects and other findings collected earlier on the surface proove that the author uncovered the remains of a building that belonged to a Late Iron Age settlement. 141
