Rózsás Márton: 18-19. századi kerámia- és üvegleletek Barcsról

Botka János: Adatok a drávatamási Dráva-part löszcsiga faunájához MÁRTON RÓZSÁS CERAMICS AND GLASS FINDS FROM BARCS FROM THE AGE OF THE 18 TH-19 TH CENTURIES SUMMARY As the term bounds of archeology being postponed, the scientific investigation and publishing of relics at the border of archeology and ethnography - disregarded by archeological research up to the present - come more and more into limelight. Ceramics and glass materials which are described in this essay are from Bares' s two places of occurrence from the 18 th-19 th centuries. One of them is from a rubbish pit of a tavern which used to stand in the outskirts of Bares. The other find came to light from the centre of the former settlement. We consider that the finds from beside the tavern may be dated back to the end of the 18 th century but the ceramics and glass fragments from the old village centre are younger because they date from the first half of the 19 th century. The author makes a comparison between the now described materials and the finds from the neighbouring Verőce (Virovitica, Croatia), and the similar aged finds from Pécs as well as the ceramics of the 18 th century from the moat of the Turkish dirth-castle of Bares. He establishes that the household utensils and their fragments from the fosse are earlier but the finds from Verőce and Pécs - originating in the 18-19 th centuries - show a lot of similarity to the pieces from Bares. 85
