Gabriella Csiffáry: ADDITIONAL DATA TO THE HISTORY OF THE PERMANENT EXHIBITIONS The author, having reminded us to the the special atmosphere of Szentendre as ariculated by Béla Hamvas enumerates the data she managed to collect from the Directorate of the Council of Szentendre, the Cultural Department of the Council of Pest County, the Documentation Department of Pest County Museums, the Financial and Technological Department of the Council of Szentendre, the Cultural Department of the Council of Pest County, the Documentation Department of Pest County Building Investments, the Cultural Ministry and the New Hungarian Central Archives. Then she meticulously documents all the talks and measures which contributed to the foundation of the Collection of the Ferenczy Family, the Margit Kovács Museum, the Kerényi Museum, the Czóbel Collection, the Kmetty Museum, the Arnos—Anna Collection, the Barcsay Collection and the Vajda Memorial Museum enlisting the contributions of the cultural government, the artists and/or their widows and relatives, the conditions of the contracts, the construction procedures and problems together with the costs involved.
