Ferenczy Béni igazán gazdag anyagának teljesebb bemutatásához a Magyar Nemzeti Galéria szoborosztálya öt szobrot kölcsönzött, ezek között van Ferenczy Béni egyik egész korai műve, az 1913-ból származó Sárkány ölő. Az újjárendezett kiállítást 1974. február 24-től láthatják az érdeklődők. A műtárgyakon kívül Ferenczy Béni a tulajdonában levő értékes dokumentumgyűjteményt is átengedte a múzeumnak. Az értékes képzőművészeti és dokumentumgyűjtemény feldolgozása után tud majd a Szentendrei Múzeum Ferenczy Osztálya a céljául kitűzött feladatának, a Ferenczy család művész tagjai munkássága bemutatásának maradéktalanul eleget tenni. Várhelyi: DIE SAMMLUNG FERENCZY IN SZENTENDRE Die Sammlung Ferenczy wurde im Museum von Szentendre im Jahre 1973 deshalb gegründet, um den möglichst grossen Teil der Werke dieser Künstlerfamilie, die in der Kunst Ungarns im XX. Jahrhundert eine bedeutende Rolle gespielt hatte, in eine einheitliche Sammlung zusammenzubringen. Zu dieser Künstlerfamilie gehörten: der Kunstmaler Károly Ferenczy (1862— 1917), seine Frau, Olga Fialka, die Malerin und Grafikerin (1848—1930), ferner ihre drei Kinder: Valér, der Maler und Kupferstecher (1885—1954), und die Zwillingsgeschwister: Béni, der Bildhauer (1890—1967) und Noémi, die Gobelin-Künstlerin (1890 —1957). Die Basis der Sammlung bildete der nahe 2000 Kunstgegenstände enthaltende Nachlass von Béni Ferenczy. Die ständige Ausstellung der Familie Ferenczy wurde aus dem Bestand der Ungarischen Nationalgalerie am 8. September 1972 im Museum von Szentendre eröffnet; im Januar —Februar 1974 kam es zur Umordnung der Ausstellung mit dem eigenen Material des Museums. Während der kurzen Zeit, die seit der Gründung der Sammlung verstrichen ist, gelang es bereits die Sammlung mit einigen bedeutenden Werken, und zwar: mit den Gemälden von Károly Ferenczy: „Zukunft" 1898, „Frau in Blau" 1916 und mit dem Gobelin von Noemi Ferenczy: „Erweckung" 1926—27 zu bereichern. Vanda M. Várhelyi: THE FERENCZY COLLECTION AT SZENTENDRE In 1973 the Ferenczy Collection was established in the Ferenczy Museum with the aim of comprising into an organic complex as many pieces as possible of the works of the Ferenczy family. This family of artists which played a considerable part in the 20th century Hungarian fine arts, consisted of the father, Károly Ferenczy (1862—1917), a painter, his wife, Olga Fialka (1848—1930), also a painter and graphic artist, and their three children: Valér (1885—1954), a painter and etcher and the twins: Béni (1890—1967), a sculptor, and Noémi (1890—1957), a gobelin artist. It was the bequest of Béni Ferenczy including about 2000 works of art that formed the basis of the Collection. The family's permanent exhibition selected from the material in the Hungarian National Gallery, was opened in the Szentendre Museum on September 8, 1972. Based on the works in the Museum's own possession in January and February, 1974 the exhibition was rearranged. In the short time since the establishment of the Collection it was enriched with significant works such as the paintings of Károly Ferenczy: "The Future" (1898) and "Woman in a blue dress" (1916), and the gobelin of Noémi Ferenczy: "Awekening" (1926—27).
