can also be definitely followed. The invisible network of mid-generation disciple and mid-generation Master extrapolates the arch of organic development, making almost tangible how prefigurations and disciples are interlocked for decades. It demonstrates how individual features are shaped in a subtle way by the Master, it shows the braking out of the disciple and his dialogue with the Master at the same time. In fact, we principally meet the group of works and the artistic approach that places the eternal laws of art in the center of the artistic creation and the personal attitude representing a story or a biographical momentum, remains shyly in the background. The subject of the appeal enforces this concept: Space>points. The relationship of Space and Points, as an abstract conceptual system leaves the topical but eternal opportunities of sculpture free. The space and its points as a symbolic formulization of the components of the material do not make spatial plasticity obligatory at the same time. In this way a way to interpret the task has opened and it characterizes the source of inspiration of today’s sculpture: the imagery of the period and the elaboration of this world of images. The current biennial very well reflects the elegant continuation of the classical traditions of sculpture and the influence of the spirit of the age as well. The exhibition displaying almost 180 works provides a good opportunity to discover all this. We trust the success and the popularity of the exhibition and the lively renewal of contemporary Hungarian sculpture. Julia Fabényi
