Bálint Szombathy (Art Lover)

Born 1950 in Pacir, Serbia.

Writer and visual artist working in several media.

1969-1976 founding member of Bosch+Bosch Art Group, Subotica, Serbia.

Between 1971-1972 graphics editor and between 1985-1991 arts editor of the journal, Új Symposion (NewSymposium), Novi Sad, Serbia.

From 1989 chief contributor, from 2003 editor, and since 2011 editor in charge of the journal, Magyar Műhely (Hungarian Workshop), Budapest; series editor of Pixel Books, Magyar Műhely publications (2004-) and curator of the gallery of the same name.

Since 1993 member of the Hungarian Writers’ Association.

Founding member of the Hungarian Electrogaphic Art Association (2001).
