Paul Huet: A Bizanos völgye Olaj, vászon 31 x 50 cm Musée Municipal des Beaux-Arts de Pau, Pau A francia festő és grafikus munkái magyar gyűjteményekben nem láthatók, ezért a kiállítás egyik különlegessége, hogy több festményét is megtekinthetjük. / Huet az angol tájképfestészet hatására készült levegős tájképeivel megelőzte a barbizoniak törekvéseit. Ennek példáját láthatjuk az egyik kiállított festményén, míg a másik ennek a hangulatnak az ellentétét, a sötét árnyakkal teli erdő mélyét ábrázolja. / A művész színvilága kiválóan közvetíti a táj visszafogott fényviszonyait. Mindkét képének központi motívuma a víz, amely más és más színhatások létrehozásával teszi izgalmassá a kompozíciót. Nous pouvons en voir l'exemple dans l'une des peintures de l'exposition, tandis que la seconde représente l'opposition à cette atmosphère, la profondeur de la forêt emplie de sombres ténèbres. / Le monde coloré de l'artiste transmet admirablement les conditions de lumière détenues par le paysage. Le motif commun des deux tableaux est l'eau, qui en créant effet de couleur après effet de couleur, rend cette composition passionnante. While an example of this can be seen in one of his two exhibited paintings, the other one shows the opposite of this atmosphere: the depth of the shadow-darkened forest. / The artist's use of colours perfectly reflects the landscape's muted light conditions. The focal motif of both of his paintings is the water, which makes the composition exciting by producing various colour effects. KP
