15.2 Eigendarstellung Paizs Péter Eigendarstellung: Ich bin seit 1980 schaffender Künstler in Ungarn und habe an vielen Ausstellungen teilgenommen. Meine Werke befinden sich mittlerweile sowohl in privatem als auch öffentlichem Besitz in Ungarn und im Ausland. Außerdem unterrichte ich und beschäftige mich wissenschaftlich mit Farbenlehre. Ich wohne und arbeite in Szentendre. Ich verstehe meine Werke als Teil der geometrisch-konstruktivistischen Tradition. Meine frühen Werke sind Versuche die Wiedersprüche zwischen Ebene und Raum, Schwarz und Weiß, Farbe und Nicht-Farbe aufzuheben. Die neueste Serie - Illumination 3D - schafft ein neues physisches Licht, ein „nicht-newtonisches Spektrum“ durch die Anwendung traditioneller Methoden der Malerei: Farbpigment, Leinwand und Licht. Szakmai bemutatás: 1980- óta foglalkozom festészettel. Egyéni kiállításaim mellett számos csoportos kiállításon vettem részt. Munkáim hazai és külföldi, köz- és magángyűjteményekben találhatók. A színtan területén egyetemi oktatói, elméleti és publikációs tevékenységet folytatok. Szentendrén élek és dolgozom. Munkáimat a geometrikus-konstruktivista hagyományok folytatásának tekintem. Korábbi festményeim a sík és a tér, a fekete-fehér, a szín-'-nemszín ellentmondásának feloldására tett kísérletek. Legutóbbi festménysorozatom -’Illumination 3D”- a fizikai fény, a „nem newtoni spektrum” létrehozása a festészet hagyományos eszközeivel: pigmenttel, vászonra, fénnyel. Professional evaluation: I have been working as a painter since 1980 in Hungary. Beside solo exhibitions I have been taking part in numerous group exhibitions. My works can be found in public and private art collections in Hungary and abroad. I am engaged in teaching and academic activities in color studies. I live and work in Szentendre. I consider my works as direct sequels to the geometric-constructivist traditions. My earlier works are attempts to cease the contradiction between plane and space, black and white, color and non-color. The latest series of my pieces of art - Illumination 3D - creates a re-emitted physical light, a ‘non-Newtonian spectrum’ using the traditional method of painting: pigment, canvas and light.
