SALGÓTARJÁN-PÉCS-KŐ: NOT JUST A BADEN SETTLEMENT

After the basic publication of József Korek in 1968 the site of Salgótarján-Pécs-kő were known as a tell-like, pure late Baden fortified, hilltop settlement in the hungarian Prehistory. In this article I discuss a certain part of the finds as a non-Copper Age finds, which belongs to the Transition period of the Copper and Bronze Age. The regarding materials were described as surviving Baden, Kostolác finds with some Vucedol-types and Makó finds, indicating the Transition period between the Copper and the Bronze Age.
