Természettudomány - Dr. Hír János: Új középső miocén rágcsálófaunák Észak-Magyarországról

Miodyromys aegercii (BAUDELOT, 1972) Figs. 15., 16. and Miodyromys sp. Figs. 18., 19. 23. A relatively rieh material of the two species was found at Sámsonháza, but the correct séparation of them is possible only in the case of the M 1-2 molars. The most important morphological diffferences are the following: Miodyromys aegercii Miodyromys sp. measurements (Fig.23.) smaller larger anteroloph-protoloph connection: 7/18 8/13 posterior extra ridge 2/18 9/13 dominant morphotype after MAYR( 1979) 15/18muster2 6/13muster4 This différence сап' t be the resuit of the disparity between the Ml and M2 molars, because similarly considérable différences were not found between the dimensions of the two molars in the other Miodyromys populations, eg. in the materials of Sandelzhausen (MAYR 1972), Vermes 1-2 (ENGESSER et al 1981) Puttenhausen (WU 1990). The systematic position of the larger Miodyromys sp. is uncertain. An M2 molar with similar dimensions was published by AGUILAR (1980, PI. 4., fig. 8.) from Luc -sur -Orbieu determined as M. aegercii. Eomyops oppligeri ENGESSER, 1990 Figs. 25., 26., 28. The species oecured in Mátraszőlős 2. (IM 1-2: 0.74 x 0.83, 2ml-2: 0.77 x 0.77, 0.8 x 0.81) and in Felsőtárkány 3/2. (lml: 0.87 x 0.76, lm2: 0.87 x 0.85). In the old collection of Felsőtárkány there is a p4 (0.77 x 0.71) described as "Leptodontomys sp."by KRETZOI 1982. Compared to the data of AGUILAR ( 1982), ENGESSER (1990) and FEJFAR ( 1974) the measurements of the Hungárián finds are relatively small and fit better to the range of E. oppligeri, than E. catalaunicus. Keramidomys cf. mohleri ENGESSER, 1972 Figs. 24., 27. The taxon was found in Mátraszőlős 2 (2M1: 0.84 x 0.98, 0.84 x 0.97) and a complète lower toothrow came from Felsőtárkány 1 (length of the toothrow: 2.97, p4: 077 x 0.74, ml: 0.78 x 0.81, m2: 0.73 x 0.81, m3: 0.69 x 0.70). Compared to the data of ENGESSER (1990) our finds seems to be doser to the dimensions of K. mohleri, than K. karpathicus. Democricetodon mutilus FAHLBUSCH, 1964 Fig. 39. 5 molars from Mátraszőlős were determined as D. mutilus after the next arguments: - the measurements are bigger then D. gracilis (WU 1982, SCHÖTZ 1993), but smaller than D. hasznosensis (KORDOS, 1986) (Fig. 39.). (IMI: 1.75 x 1.12) - no anterior connection between the protocone and the paracone of the M 1 molar - the mesolophe of the Ml and M2 molars is middle developed - the entoconid is well developed in the m3 molars. 243
