Glazed-Titus from TATA-Castle IL Dr. Sarolta Szatmári During the Tata-Castle excavation were found the wine-cellar, filled in 16. century, and fractions of a stove glazed tiles from XV century. So-called knight-figured stove was successfully reconstructed on the analogy of Buda and set up on an exhibition. The similar glazed-tiles and fractions of an other stove-type of Buda were found, decorated with se-called tiles of Regensburg. The prism-shaped lower part of the stovebody was formed of quadratic, leafy framed, by 5 petal rosettes decorated tiles. The device of corner-tiles was found too. The upper cylindrical part might be made of barrel vaulted tiles decorated bu oac leaves, acorns and coat of arms. From among the fractions of tiles appear the coat of arms of Regensburg, Karinthia and the crowned capital letter M, which was seen on infantry shields of King Mathias' army. It's frame was four graphic crescents. At peak solution on account of replica of angel's head we might think on barrel vaulted, ogee arch, leafy solving. They may be dated from 1480. It was ruined in the beginning of XVI. century at the first siege of the Turkish occupation of Hungary. 8
