H: 6 cm, 14 cm [17] can be characterised by pit dwellings (KOREK 1986, 47-52 and Fig. 3). However, recent large-scale excavations have unam­biguously proven that above-ground timber-framed houses with rectangular groundplan were distributed over the entire Tisza territory. The remains of various constructional elements belonging to different settlement phases were outlined in the virgin soil underlying the strongly damaged house remains in the main Flat lid with a handle in the form of a stylized human figure.
