The Gépid bones are similar to the Kál and Tiszagyenda finds. We identified the skeletons of six children and juveniles, as well as 33 adults from the Avar skeletal finds. From the taxonomic point ofview, the adults were characterised by dominant Europid elements (brachycrania). Four skulls can be classified as Mongolid. One female skull is slightly deformed, and another two are assumed to have had impacts of distortion. The number of pathological cases is low. A deformation of the maxilla (nasopalatine cyst) in a male skull is worth mentioning and we also found one case of early-stage skeletal tuberculosis in another individual. From the taxonomic point of view, they are not different from the Avar Period anthropological types of the Danube-Tisza Interfluve Region. 288
