Nagy Veronika: Muzeológiai esélyek és kihívások - a megújuló Moskovszky- gyűjtemény
Veronika Nagy Museological Opportunities and Challenges The Renewable Moskovszky-collection Being unique both in Hungary and across Europe, Éva Moskovszky’s toy collection will be opened to the public under the name ’Hetedhét’ Toy Museum in 2012. Primarily, this Museum is meant to preserve, take care of, present, and allow a comprehensive scientific treatment of Éva Moskovszky’s heritage (including books, notes and other assets), and become a centre of entertainment, education and scientific reasearch in the future. To this end, it is essential that deliberate efforts be made to take stock of all material and intellectual assets in the custody of the Museum, and adopt a project-oriented strategic planning approach for identification and full exploitation of the potentials of the establishment in all fields of museological activity (ranging from addition of new items to the collection to the arrangement of shows and ongoing marketing efforts). It is through instruments such as accurate records, scholarly research, digital databases created and maintained, shows with focus on experience and spectacle as well as educational potentials, pedagogical programmes based on research findings, and extensive communications with sister establishments that ’Hetedhét’ Toy Museum may have a chance to grow into a really modem and popular institute, one that can add to the touristic attraction of, and enrich the cultural life in Székesfehérvár. 93
