He also used new solu­tions, e.g. in the Hunting game the games and the chasers follow the moves of chess, while in the Gardener and Flower Games the movements of the pieces are based on the moving folk game “Where's the scissors, ma’m?” (puss in the comer). In the 1930s the interest towards Hungarian board games increased. With his high standard game designs József Stippek also contributed to the appearance of national intellectuality games. 79
