Orsolya Szécsényi — Viktória Földi Cul-tour Experience in Eger The Hungarian Tourism Pic, the Ministry of Local Government and the Ministry of Education and Culture opened the Year of Cultural Tourism on 14 t h January, 2009. Beside the cultural events great emphasis was placed on fostering tradition and on values of built inheritance. The initiative called "See wonders at home " came to fruition with the interlocking of tourism and cultural programmes. The main aim of the programme was to revive the interest of Hungarians towards the domestic cultural touristic offers. The Ministry of Education and Culture expanded the Year of Cultural Tourism with the "CUL-TOUR Experience" travelling programmes organised for students, which were announced for public collections. The aim of the tender was to help the students learn the objects of public collections and related knowledge informally, with the help of experience programmes. The István Dobó Castle Museum developed successful student programmes connected to this. The study summarises the details of the programme, the museum education objectives and the results of the satisfaction survey done among the participating teachers. 456
