Levente Füköh The Regeneration of the Orczy Residence and Gardens: The Beginnings Planning work on the renovation of one of Gyöngyös's most important buildings, the home of the Mátra Museum and one-time Orczy residence, together with its accompanying gardens, began in 2002. This study focuses on this initial period in the project, now that much has been published on the architectural and other merits of the renovated building, and now the new permanent exhibition is open to the general public. 734
