Guided tours of the exhibitions were held on a regular basis and the research workers of the County Organization gave special lectures within and outside the Museum throught the year. Propagation of knowledge based on lectures was intensified during the Museum Month arranged in October. Beside the specialized lectures (attended by 1184 people), concerts given in the picture gallery and the Castle Competition contributed to the presentation and popularization of the museologists' work. During the Museum Month the exhibitions of the County Heves Museum Organization were seen by 32 362 visitors, and the special events were attended by 5 765 people. Ferenc Bakó 16
