Archeological data to the settlement-history of the Nagyiván community's field from the middle neolithicum to the late middle age (terrain-visitings in May of 1992) In May of the year 1992 for four days - on 7th, on 8th, on 11st and on 13 rd - I was going ahead archeological datum-gathering in the field of Nagyiván community (.1 ász-Nagykun-Szolnok county, district of Tiszafüred). The aim of this work was, that I can form a sort of idea of the region's ancient settlements. This area is passing for a „white spot" very nearly from archeological viewpoint - it is situated at about 15 km to south-east from Tiszafüred town. In the beginning, before I should have started the terrain-walking - in consequence of nature-geographical lying of the territory - I scarcely counted on excessively abundant finds. Roughly speaking half of the relatively smaller executive unit, contiguously its eastern and southern part is „puszta", grassy, consequently covered in archeological approach (National Park of Hortobágy). Since the countryside under discussion - by nature - is even, where dry, abandoned water-course-beds resp. hingh-banks are being barely or not at all, thus it from the first failed out of the row of that field-parts, which I had to observe. On the other hand the western field „it was to be mapped" on larger terrain-sections: at the arable land, in the area „articulated" by features of terrain (brooklet-beds and hummock-ridges) also, numerous settlement-traces were shown. My activity brought valuable data mainly in late iron age (scythian and Celtic) connection, at all in unlooked-of manner I was localizing a good many Latène-sites. The case - at least in the middle-Tisza-rcgion - is rather peculiar. The territory is comparatively rich in kurgans/tumuli also. All things considered, with the work lasting four days - on the grounds of nearly fifty archeological-topographical ensembles - ultimately it was outlined the settlement-history/-network of the village's field from the middle-neolithicum (4th-3th millennium B.C.) to the late middle age, i.e. the 14th-17th century. The paper I had compiled in the second half of 1992. Site 8. (7th of May) South-western field-part, Third-field, Bürök-hillock One of the most imposing kurgans of the middle-Tisza-countryside is risen in the south-western quarter of the community's administrative field/territory, from the fringes of the village to north-west (278°), approximately at 2 km, on the southern side of the Third-field, from the highway leading to Tiszaörs village at about a kilometre to north-east. In this territory-part the „articulated" surface dunes as well as depressions - is of 89-90 m and 92-93 m height above sea-level, and of north-east-south-western axis. This strip is of 200-400 m breadth. The „earlh-pyramid" - in accordance with the chart - is slightly oval in north-cast-so-
