Bába Károly-Varga András-Wágner Mária-Zseni László: Három bükki erdőtársulás szárazföldi csigáinak elkülönítése állatföldrajzi módszerrel

The Différenciation of Terrestrial Snails of the Three Wood Communities in the Bükk with Zoogeographical Methods The authors compare the wood communities of the TilioFraxinetum (boreal), Querco petreae Carpinetum (subboreal), Militti-Fagetum (subatlantic) wood communities (P. Jakucs 1 981) using Bába's 1980—81—82 zoogeographical groupping, based on the quanlitative setting (Pi. 1.) and its completion with quantitative data (x: A/nr) (T. 2.). The analysis explains the lack of some faunistic groups on the basis of the time formation of the forests and the difference in the time of expansion of the faunistic units (Tilio-Fraxinetum; the missing PontoPannonian and Carpathian Sudetan elements had their expansion in the subboreal, while in the Melitti-Fagentum the AlpicCarpathian faunistic elements had their expansion in the praeboreal). According to the analysis, in coordance with Mayer's geobotanical analysis (1968), the lindenash rockforests are characteristic of the subatlantic, while the Q. p. Carpinetum of the continental-subatlantic (T. 2.). The fact that the distribution of the fauna elements in the beeches, regarding the quantitative distribution of the snails cannot be correlated with the predominance of the floristic atlantic elements, is due to the lumbering. This type of forest yielded the less living specimens of the material (11—14%). Dr. Wagner Mária Dr. Bába Károly Budapest H— 1118 Szeged H— Bereck u. 5. Vár u. 6.
