The fauna of Central Europe and Europe in general is relatively well represented, but there are only a few species, though maybe also rarities among them, from the farther territories. The prevenance of the Hungarian material will be comprised in the „ränge volume". The arrangement of the whole material of the collection will be fulfilled in 1983—84. As it is arranged in taxonomical groups (following the Wenz—Zilch system) it may be helpful first of all for those malacologues, who deal with the taxons and the groups. The usefulness of the material would be increased if the specialists would, from time to time, revise the material of the different taxonomical groups.
