!, !!! Gymnadenia odoratissima Rich. NY, Bánk (Meadow of Pályi Stream) F.prat. 1 specimen (published on the basis of report of I. Lánszki. In the NY the species has been known only from Bátorliget. (Boros, 1924,1924 Soó, 1939, 1953) ! Orchis mono L. NY, Nagycsere-Martinka (Vermes-side, Csernyusztanya) F.vag., F.-cor., Astr.-F. PotF.ps. Large population, probably the largest one on the whole Great Plain. 4-5 hundred thousand individuals, very variable. This area is not protected yet! Monostorpályi (pasture: Nagylegelő) Pot.-F.ps., Astr.-F., F.vag. About 5-600 specimens. Variable. Vámospércs-Nyíracsád (pasture at Jónásrész) Ast.-F., Pot.-F.ps. Some thousands individuals. (!),!!! Hajdúbagos (Nagynyomás) Pot.-F.ps . about 100 + 27 specimens (see report of Sípos, 1983) (!),!!! Bátorliget (Nagylegelő) (Soó, 1935,1939,1939,1939,1953) Pot.-F.ps. In 1988 only 1 specimen remained of the beautiful population! (mainly due to heavy fertilization)! (!),!!! CR. Hencida (Csere Forest) Art.-F.ps. The population has been heavily decreased for 50 years in Nagy-tisztás, (Máthé, 1939). Only 150-200 specimens can be found here, but a new population settled at the dam of River Berettyó. It involves about 2500-3000 specimens and less variable. (!), !!! Orchis coriophora L. Hajdúbagos (Nagynyomás) F.prat. (Astr.-F.) Only 4 specimens. (Soó, 1934) !, !!! Martinka (Vermes-side) F.prat., Ag.a. Only 2 specimens. Monostorpályi (Nagylegelő) Astr.-F. 2 specimens. Near to extinction in South-NY, if transplanting is not possible. Specimens of Bátorliget can probably be conserved. (!), !!! Orchis militaris L. Haláp (protected gallery forest) (Soó, 1932,1934) Fr.p.-U. The formerly famous population is near extinction! Bátorliget (Fényi Forest) (Soó, 1934) (Fr.p.-A.), Fr.p.-U., Fest.-Q., Mol.c. The nice population (several hundred individuals) of the latter association has almost been destroyed by mowing of the moorland, (in our opinion destroying the original flora of the moorland and settling a Solidago jungle can hardly be considered good wild animal management!). ! Vámospércs-Nyíracsád (Jónásrész) margin of Fr.p.-U., shrubbs beside Pr.Cr., Astr.-F. This is the fourth beautiful habitat of the species in the NY, strict protection is needed ! 400-450 specimens. ! Nyírábrány (Nagyláprét) Astr.-F.? F.prat. 1 specimen (probably extinct) ! Orchis laxiflora ssp. elegáns Soó NY Újfehértó F. prat., Ag.a. Large population, several thousands of specimens.
