TANULMÁNYOK The situation of the Lutherans in Győr during The Hungarian Soviet Republic It was exactly a hundred years ago that the short-lived political experience - called the Hungarian Soviet Republic - took place during which each element of the previous political system was subject of a radical re-shaping including - naturally - the institutions of the his­torical Churches. They endured several re-shaping and discriminating measures. Based on archival records this study aims at studying the situation of the Lutherans in Győr during this regime and looks into the measures taken after the collapse of the regime on the 1st Au­gust to re-establish the previous order the most smoothly and call the responsible persons to in the city account.
