ARRABONA 2006. 44/ 1. TANULMÁNYOK GRAVE OF THE EAST-HALLSTATT CULTURE WITH A CULTIC WAGON FROM FERTŐENDRÉD (SOPRON COUNTY) Fertőendréd is situated in the south of Lake Fertő, 22 km far from Sopron. In July 1999 excavations were carried out in József Gombos' yard during the construction of a cellar (15 Petőfi Street). The object excavated at the site: A square-shaped grave (200x200cm) with remains of charcoal from the inner timbering of the pit was found at a depth of 110-120 cm. At the south-eastern corner where the surface was burned to red some remains of bones from the cremation was found. On the surface no signs of the presumed burial mound could be seen. Findings: 1.Eared pot from the Kalenderberg Culture, a cultic wagon, originally with four wheels made of clay. During the discovery only one sound wheel and a fragment of another one were found.); 2. Cultic wagon: It is brownish with a black brim and made of clay mixed with gravel. Its shoulder and belly are ornamented with a pattern typical to the Kalanderberg Culture: zigzag pattern of reversed triangles of plastic point groups resembling to grapes and triangles standing on their base and decorated with parallel and oblique lines. The pattern is bordered with a plastic line of points resembling to a string of beads. At the bottom four parallel lump-ears support the axis of the wheel. Dimensions: height: 11 cm, bottom diameter: 7 cm, mouth diameter: 12,5 cm. Clay wheel of good condition: diameter = 8 cm, length of the central cylinder for the axis of the wheel: 4 cm. Dating: Hallstatt C period, 7th century B.C. János Gömöri GRAB DER OSTHALLSTATTKULTUR MIT WAGENGEFÄß AUS FERTŐENDRÉD (KOM. SOPRON, UNGARN) Fertőendréd liegt 22 km östlich von Sopron, am Südrand des Neusidlersees (Fertő tó). Die archälogischen Untersuchungen im Juli 1999 wurden im Zusammenhang mit der Umbau eines Kellers im Hof des Hauses von József Gombos, Petőfi Str. 15. durchgefürt. Befunde: In 110-120 cm Tiefe ein viereckiges (200x200 cm) Grab mit Holzkohlenresten an der inneren Holzkonstruktion des Grabkammers. In der Nähe der SO-Ecke war eine kleine rotgebrannte Fläche mit Knochenfragmente. Oben sind keine Spure des vermuteten Grabhügels. Funde: 1. Kalenderberghenkeltopf mit Räder, Wagengeschirr (ein Rad und ein Fragment); 2. Kleines Kegelhalsgefäß; 3. Kalenderberghenkeltopf; 4. Kegelhalsgefäß; 5. Kleine Fußschale (fragm.); 6. Fußschale (fragm.); 7. Fußschale (fragm.); 8. Kalenderberghenkeltopf (fragm.); 9. Urne (fragm.); 10. Mondidol (fragm.); 11-13. Spinnwirtel (3 Stück); 14. Bronze (perlen?) fragmente, ganz korrodiert.; 15. Urne (fragm.); 16. Gefäß (fragm.); 17. Urne (fragm.); 18. Schale (fragm.); 19. Gefäß (fragm.); 20. Gefäß (fragm.) Kultische Wagen: Braunlicher Ton, schwarze Oberfläche, Steinchenmagerung. Schulter-Bauch in Kalenderbergtechnik verziert: Zickzackmuster, in "hängende" Dreiecken plastische, stilisierte weintraubenartige Punktgruppen wechseln die mit schräg laufende paralelle Rillen gebildeten stehenden Dreiecken. Die Muster ist oben, zwischen den Hals und Schultern mit einer perlenkranzartigen plastischen Punktlinie begrenzt. Unten befinden sich vier paralell gebildete, durchgebohrte Nocken, für die Radaschse. Maße: H: 11 cm, Bdm: 7 cm, Mdm: 12,5 cm. Ein gut geheltenes Rad aus Ton: Dm: 8 cm, mittlere Radaschse-Hohlzylinder: H: 4 cm. Datierung: H/C, Kalenderbergkultur. 7. Jh. v Chr. János Gömöri 174
