TANULMÁNYOK Székely Zoltán: A portrait of a noble guardsman from the Hansági Museum A portrait of a nobleman from the XVIII. century got into the possession of the Hansági Museum of Mosonmagyaróvár from Panos Alajosné's bequest from Rajka in 1957. According to the inventory of the bequest the portrait shows Rakovszky Albert. The portrait was registered to the inventory book of the museum as well (l.sz. 60.172). In accordance with latest archival, genealogical and art-historical researches the identification of the painting is quite uncertain. According to the clothes, label on the painting and the coats of arms, it may be defined, that the painting shows Okolicsányi Farkas, member of the noble guards of Maria Teresa. The Okolicsányi portrait was painted by an unknown Viennese portraitist of moderate skills in the second half of the years of 1760. 412
