Mussel ornament The first step in understanding the technoeconom­ics of a particular tool class lies in the isolation of discreet and recognizable units with in that class. This formation of tool units has been attempted herein. Further clarification of the role of these bone tools in the life of Bronze age populations now depends on taking these types and placing them within the precise archaeological contexts of features found during the course of future excavations.
