Grave 5. Contracted skeleton. Grave-furniture: twohandled mug, a vertical triple rib ornament below the belly (PL I. no. 5), height: 8,8 cm, rim diam.: 8 cm, pedestal diarn.: 5,5 cm; two-handled mug, 2—2 large wart ornaments on the belly (PI. I no .6), height: 7,3 cm, rim diam.: 7 cm, pedestal diam. : 3 cm; t w o-h andled mug, lacking any decoration (PI. I no. 7), height: 7 cm, rim diam.: 6 cm, pedestal diam.: 3 cm. Grave 7. Depth: 110 cm. A very badly preserved contracted skeleton, lying on its right. Direction: S —N, the face towards E. The hands are folded in front of the face. Grave-furniture: on the lap a large-size one-handled bowl (PL I no. 9), height: 13,2 cm, rim diam.: 25 cm, pedestal diam.: 9 cm; around the neck a necklace of one shell b e a d and some fayence beads (PL IV nos 5—6"). Grave 8. Depth: 100 cm. Disturbed. Grave-furniture: in the earth of the grave the remnants of a broken cup and of a bronze pin (PL IV nos 3—4) •; among the scattered bones a three-handled bowl was lying (Fig. 1), height: 14,7 cm, rim diam.: 25. cm, pedestal diam.: 8 cm. Grave 9. Depth: 140 cm. A strongly contracted skeleton, lying on its right. Direction: S —N, the face was turned to E. The left hand lay on the pelvis, the right under the head. Grave-furniture: on the shoulders 2 small-size s ре с t а с 1 e-s haped bronze spirals (PL IV no. 9), only one piece of them is preserved by now; around the neck a necklace of green fayence beads (PL IV no. 7), among them there is a largensize spool-shaped specimen (PL IV no 8); a bronze dagger (PL V no. 13). Grave 10. Depth: 130 cm. Contracted skeleton, disturbed. Its skull and feet were missing. Grave-furniture: a bone eyelet-pin made of the foot of a bird (PL IV. no. 16) ; two-handled bowl (PL I no. 8), height: 19,5 cm, rim diam.: 25 cm, pedestal diam.: 6 cm. Grave 11. Depth: 60 cm. A disturbed and snatched grave, containing a few finger bones and the fragment of the skull only. Grave-furniture: pot-sherds decorated with stabbed dots and incised lines ; 2 gold lockrings (PL V nos 3, 6). Grave 12. Depth: 120 cm. A skeleton broken to pieces by the workers, Grave-furniture : f о u r - h a n d 1 e d bowl (PL I no. 11), height: 12 cm, rim diam.: 24 cm, pedestal diam. : 9 cm; two-handled mug (PL I. no. 12), height: 9 cm, rim diam.: 7 cm, pedestal diam.: 3,5 cm; 2 triply coiled bronze bracelets, with round profiles, containing a small amount of tin (PL IV nos 10—11). Grave 13. A pit filled up with black earth to a depth of 120—180 cm. It contains fragments of a skull and 2 fragments of a whetstone (PL V no. 12). Possibly from the period of migrations. Grave 15. Depth: 135 cm. The length of the grave154 cm. the width: 70 cm. A badly preserved contracted skeleton of an aged individual. It lay on its right, with arms drawn before the face (PL I no. 14). Grave-furniture: on the lap a large-size one-handled bowl (PL I no 13), height: 15,4 cm, rim diam.: 30 cm, pedestal diam.: 10 cm; around the neck green fayence beads (PL IV. no. 12) ; on each wrist a triply coiled bronze bracelet (PL I no, 14); in the bowl animal bones. Grave 16. Depth: 100 cm. Contracted skeleton of a child, lying on its left. Grave-furniture: around the neck 2 perforated С er i t h i u m snails (PL IV no. 13) ; at the feet a large-size bowl with two handles, one beside the other (PL I no. 15), height: 13,3 cm, rim diam.: 27 cm, pedestal diam.: 10 cm. Grave 17. Depth: 40 cm. Skeleton of a child, contracted on its right. Grave-furniture: at the feet a large^size, fourhandied bowl (PL II no. 1), height: 13,4 cm. Grave 18. Devastated by the workers. Grave-furniture: she 11-bead (PL IV no. 14) ; two handled mug (PL II no. 2), height: 9 cm, , rim diam.: 6,8 cm, pedestal diam.: 2 cm; one-handled bo w 1 (PL II no. 3), height: 13,5 cm, rim diam.: 28 cm, pedestal diam.: 9,5 cm; bones of fowl. Grave 19. Depth: 133 cm. Disturbed. The skull, the arms and the ribs were missing, the feet have been contracted. Grave-furniture: on the lap a four-handled bowl (PL II no. 4), height: 10,2 cm, rim diam.: 21 crn, pedestal diam.: 7 cm: on the knees a bone eyelet-pin (PL IV no. 15). Grave 2 0. Depth: 117 cm. Contracted skeleton, disturbed. Grave-furniture: near the feet, the pelvis and the skull double tube-shaped bronze beads (PL IV no. 18). Grave 2 1. Contracted skeleton of a child. No grave-goods. Skeleton of a child, contracted on its left. Grave-furniture: on the tibiae a one-handled pot (PL II no. 8), standing on a low, quadrangular openwork pedestal, its bulge is partitioned by 4 times 2 vertical ribs, height: 19 cm, rim diam.: 18 cm, pedestal diam.: 6,5 cm; inside thejDot a two-handled mug, its bulge is partitioned by 4 vertical ribs (PL II no. 11), height: 7,2 cm, rim diam.: 6,4 cm, pedestal diam.: 4 cm; at the same place another two-handled mug, with a wart ornament on its belly (PL II no. 10), height: 7 cm, rim diam.: 7 cm, pedestal diam.: 4,8 cm; beside the mug the third two-handled mug, with a garland-like ornament of incised double lines in the zone between the two handles (PL II 15 It is described by J.
