28 PÁL KOMOLY - PÉTER MIKLÓS PÁL OLTVÁNYI'S WILL It was Pál Oltványi (1823-1909), papal chamberlain and provost, who established the nunnery and school of the Congregatio Sororum Scholasticarum Pauperum a Nostra Domina in Szeged. He played a remarkably significant role in both the public and political life of the city. He was member of the city council as well. His will can de considered as an interesting and remarkable source concerning the history of Szeged during the age of the Austro-Hungarian Dualistic Monarchy.
