Az alaprajzok szerint az épület alagsorában: a körút felől papírraktár, formaöntöde; az utca felől gépterem helyezkedett el (13. kép). A magasföldszinten: a körút felőli épület udvari részében volt a szerkesztőség; az utcai épületben a szedők és apróbb gépek nagyterme, az expedíció, a papírvágó, az udvar felől pedig a könyvkötők terme kapott helyet (14. kép). Az emelet utca frontján négy lakás foglalt helyet az „elsőbetűszedő, I. gépmester, II. gépmester, betűszedő" részére. 1922. szeptember 24.-én a lap megszűnt. The Editorial Offices, Publishing Houses and Printing Works of the Szegedi Napló (1878-1922) Márta T. Knotik Journalism in Szeged has enjoyed a worthy past. The first issue of the Szegedi Napló, being the second newspaper to be published over an extensive period, was published on July 28, 1878. As indicated in the heading, the location of the editorial office, publishing house and printing works of the newspaper were all changed on several occasions, therefore, information had to be supplemented by news columns of public interest. In addition, related material from the Somogyi Library, the Csongrád County Archives and the collection in the Ferenc Móra Museum were also used. The author ascertains the dates of publication by the use of information concerning the dates of changing premises. Together with a short description of the buildings, it marks with a star the street numbers in an area of the city which was extant until 1879, to identify the current street numbers. The editorial office of the newspaper changed its location ten times, while the newspaper heading itself indicates just five moves. The location of the publishing house also underwent the same number of changes. With regard to the printing works, there were seven printing companies, which at various times occupied ten locations. 16
