Budapest The Baroque Furniture of the Franciscan Church in Szeged-Alsóváros Robert Nátyi This study elaborates the data concerning of the history of Church's baroque furniture. The entitle of the Church is "Santa Maria ad Nives". On the other hand the highaltar portrays "Mulier amicta sole". One chapter of the study attempts to interpret this peculiar difference. Besides the two mentioned iconographyc types of Mary this study makes an effort to clear up the spreading and culthistorical regards of this cult in Hungary. This study also concern with the historical and iconographical describing of the ten side-altars. Two of them are differ from the usual iconographical types. They are the Purgatory-Altar, and the Holy Cross-Altar. 48
