Society of Csongrád Reflected in Objects Inventory of Rozália Hármai (source publication and analysis) JUDIT SZŰCS The author has analysed the inventory of a widow representative of landed peasantry in Csongrád. It is an example from the inventories recorded in the period of 1854-60 in a settlement with a status between an agrarian town and a large village. Publishing and analysing personal property and real estate of the deceased and her family changing in consequence of dept discharging and inheritance was the aim of the study. By the size and value of their land, also by the list of possessed articles the widow was the owner of the property in a middle peasant family. This group of articles has been classified on a functional basis, then compared to the objects used in the first half of the 20th century and collected into the local museum between 1956 and 1998. Important part of the study is the publication of the inventory and the documentary drawn up in case of decease. Also significant are the photos and drawings of articles collected into the museum this century. These are identical with the objects used in peasant farmsteads and household last century. Comparing archival documentary and museum objects is an example of simultaneous analysis of two public collections. This article, analysis of an inventory was written in the process of computerised analysis of inventories. 19
