This can be dated to a later time, to the 30s’, when they both were on the forefront of domestic duplicating and modern book art related efforts. Their activity at that time is related to the "First Golden Age” of Hungarian graphics. Both of them acted as school founding masters in their respective circles - in two major graphic arts center in Debrecen and Szeged; their independent, unique style elevated their art to a leading position in their inner circle. In addition to their consistent artistic program, high degree of mastery over their chosen technique and their active engagement in art organizing and public affairs, they deliberately weaved the artistic groups of the two towns together by making use of their personal connections, by exchanging exhibitions, publishing promotional materials and organizing lectures.
