Anita Hegedűs University students on the fields University students on the fields - Lessons learned from the visitor satisfaction surveys of two temporary exhibitions from the perspective of university students Anita Hegedűs The exhibitions titled "Egypt of the Pharaohs” and "Fairyland of Móra” held in 2014 were two of the more influential exhibitions in the history of the Móra Ferenc Museum. Both of these exhibitions showcased something new in the line of the museum’s exhibitions, although from different perspectives: the pharaoh exhibition - due to its theme - became a genuine blockbuster exhibition, hence why it could become the most visited temporary exhibition in the Móra Museum. The Fairyland of Móra on the other hand brought something different: the main concept of the exhibition was the creation of an interactive experience, meaning that the entire design of the exhibition was focused on the creation of an exhibition that can be "felt", experienced. The exhibitions reached a wide range of audiences, the pharaoh exhibit closed its gates permanently in the end of 2014 but the Fairyland of Móra continues to live on as a traveling exhibition. In the spring of 2014 a field research was conducted by university students at the fairy tale exhibition of the main building and at the pharaoh exhibit of the Kass Gallery, recording the reactions and opinion of visitors regarding the showcased materials. By using the completed field research we could not only measure a kind of visitor satisfaction, but we were also able to analyze the attitude of the university students' age group towards museums and their sense of the word. In our study - by utilizing the submitted field works - we analyze the visitors’ attitude toward the exhibitions and towards the museum in general, while at the same time attempting to conduct a partial survey of the "museum-image” of university students conducting the field work. 357
