Gábor Sánta XXX Mátyás Gajdács and István Fekete Gábor Sánta Mátyás Gajdács, born a hundred and thirty years ago in Békéscsaba, acquired the skills of leatherworking and animal preparation in Szeged and subsequently in Budapest. In the beginning of the 20th century he frequented Africa via the exhibitions of prestigious Hungarian researchers, finally he stayed in the black continent for decades. A few years before moving back home, he contacted István Fekete - working on the biography of Kálmán Kittenberger at the time - to ask him about his memories. 339
