Anikó Vukov Data pertaining to folk medicine in the data repository of the Móra Ferenc Museum Data pertaining to folk medicine in the data repository of the Móra Ferenc Museum Anikó Vukov In the study I reviewed the ethnographic data repository’s material on folk medicine: given the high amounts of data I shall discuss collection in Hódmezővásárhely exclusively. First, I shall give a short summary of my prepared works, then I shall group the medical data I found in the data repository into indicators: the first are the data repository numbers of the documents next to the names of the illnesses they describe, followed by the list of medical herbs and treatments. In case of amateur collectors - especially in the case of tender studies - their personal opinion, attitude, their process of collection and the difficulties they have encountered may be discerned. Thus, the medical data supplemented with the perspectives of the collectors give us an interesting addition to the research history of the 20th century ethnographic collections. 291
